First GOC GrandSlam victory for Schmitt / Salikhova

220 couples competed in the first round in the Beethovensaal on Friday morning, with all the star couples also taking part in the third round. On Saturday evening, six finalists presented themselves to the audience in the sold-out Beethovensaal. The couples showed their best side and were celebrated by the enthusiastic audience. Minutes of applause after the last dance testified to the couples' fantastic performances. With195.457 points, Charles-Guillaume Schmitt / Elena Salikhova won by a clear margin. Guillem Pascual / Illes Diandra-Aniela danced to second place with 191.504 points. Bronze went to Bangbang Yan / Yujun Du with 187.751 points.
