Triple victory for China

The competition began with 15 couples representing eight nations. The nation with the most starters was People's Repbulik of China. It was therefore not surprising that four couples were represented in the final, joined by one couple each from Italy and the Republic of Korea. In the end, the same flags were shown on the screen for places one to four. Tao Zhu / Hanyu Sha won all the dances and relegated Long Shi / Chenxi Xiao and Yingjie Liu / Jianing Meng to the other places.
