Victory for Italy

They have been undefeated since November 2018. If they danced a competition, they won it. This winnig streak also continued in Stuttgart. Moreno Carnelli/Michela Saggiorato left no doubt about the fact that would take the trophy home. By winning all five dances they were clearly on top of the field.

The fight over places two and three was closer. The decision came in Quickstep, which was won by Italians Armando Nespoli/Natalia Gualandris and therefore won GOC-silver. Canadians Mark Jun Ma/Linda Zhang reached bronze.

The competition was held over two days fort he first time and had one of the largest fields at the GOC 2019 with 241 competitors.
